PRE-SALES FAQ

How do Pre-Sales Work?

Distributors contact us with details of upcoming releases and prices. We then create a listing for the item that shows the release date. This allows you to order in advance.

Will I definitely receive my pre-order on release date?

We cannot guarantee this but it is always our aim. You will be kept informed if our delivery of the stock is delayed or if release dates change, which can happen.

Does my order guarantee my copy of the item?

On the vast majority of occasions yes. However, with some in demand limited edition releases, record labels do sometimes have to apply allocation limits to the number of copies received by stores and websites. Sometimes we are told of the limit prior to putting the item on sale but sometimes it is applied late on. In the event of the label applying limits we allocate the stock we are given in the order that we received the orders from customers. We refund straight away and in full in the event that we are unable to fulfill your order.

Can I combine pre-sales with in stock items in the same order?

Yes. Just add to your basket in the usual way

I want my in stock orders posted before my pre-orders are released. Is this possible?

Yes - at checkout you will be asked whether you want us to hold the enire order and post when all items are available or whether you would prefer to receive items as they are available. If you choose the latter option, further postage charges will need to be levied due to more than one package being sent and we will contact you. These additional charges will be at our normal rates. If you want to take advantage of the Free UK postage for a spend on music of £60 or more, then you will need to have all items shipped together.
