After a decade and a half in bands including synthpop duo CMON (Mexican Summer) and NYC DIY legends Regal Degal (Terrible Records), Josh da Costa finally makes his solo debut.

Josh da Costa is a veteran collaborator and touring musician, having played with Drugdealer, Jessica Pratt, MGMT, Chris Cohen and many more.

Over five years in the making, New Wave Graveyard draws on so much than the late 70s/early 80s genre referenced in its title – from Flying Nun compilations to the glam of Sparks and Japan, Prince and Yoko Ono, and power pop, electro, Britpop and shoegaze – all informed by da Costa's extensive record collection.

New Wave Graveyard is a fully solo record, with Josh da Costa writing all songs and lyrics, playing virtually every instrument, and mixing the record himself.
